Woman is £1m Premium Bond winner

A woman living in Cheshire has become Britain's latest Premium Bond millionaire after landing the jackpot prize in August's draw.

National Savings and Investments said the £1 million winner, who has a total holding of £30,000, opted to remain anonymous.

More than 1.8 million prizes with a total value of more than £54 million were paid out in the August draw.
